CNC VERTICAL MILL SETUP & OPERATOR

Cpk Manufacturing is seeking a CNC Vertical Mill Setup & Operator to join our team for the long term.

Candidates must have experience setting up and operating CNC vertical machining centers (VMCs) in a production manufacturing environment. Setup experience is required.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
Position: Full-time, 40 hours per week
Overtime: Optional overtime may be available depending on workload.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate CNC vertical machining centers.
  • Produce quality parts consistently in a production environment according to engineering drawings, specifications, and work travelers.
  • Complete work travelers fully and accurately.
  • Perform in-process inspection using calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, thread gauges, and other standard measuring equipment.
  • Identify and communicate machining or quality issues as needed.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Perform basic computer tasks as required for the position.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Experience setting up and operating CNC VMCs in a production manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
  • Experience using standard precision measuring equipment.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
  • Ability to take direction and work effectively as part of a team.
  • Dependable attendance.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
